My client is looking for a Site Agent in the Birtley area
This is to work for a tier 1 contractor carrying out work on a highways extension project of a value of £200 million.
This is an ongoing role expected to last 1 year ...
This role will fall outside of IR35
Responsibilities:
1. Delivering the project effectively, often to a tight schedule
2. Drawing up a detailed plan of how to achieve each stage of the project, as well as an overall plan
3. Ensure a project team is in place and manage that team throughout the progress of the whole project
4. Ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget and identify any issues that may prevent this from happening
5. Responsible for reporting regularly on the progress of the project to the client and/or to the senior managers
6. Managing all health and safety
What we need:
7. Relevant qualification such as SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid.
8. Full understanding of procurement of civil engineering works including preparation of specifications and current Health & Safety legislation for Civil Engineering.
9. Right to work in the UK
10. Safety Critical Medical
11. National Highways Passport
