SISS Telecoms Project Manager Type: Permanent, employed, full time Location: Wolverhampton Head Office with work nationwide Start: Immediately Salary: Circa £60k / Car Allowance / Benefits About the Role We are seeking an experienced Rail SISS Communications Project Manager to lead the delivery of Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS) projects across the rail network. You will manage projects ranging from £250k to £2M, ensuring successful delivery of new installations and refurbishment works at stations. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee end-to-end delivery of rail telecoms projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Team Coordination: Work closely with CRE, PICOT, and electrical teams to manage resources and technical interfaces. Procurement & Resource Planning: Manage procurement activities and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines. Programme Integration: Feed into overall programme management, ensuring alignment with wider project schedules. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling variations, technical queries, and progress updates. Entry into Service: Manage entry into service activities, ensuring CRE and PICOT deliverables are completed and signed off. Skills & Experience Proven experience in rail telecoms or SISS projects. Strong understanding of rail standards and safety requirements. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets, variations, and contractual obligations.
