Job description EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is a subsidiary of Edvance, which is a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, established in 2018 in charge of the design and the realisation of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide. In particular, EDF EPR-E UK is responsible for the design and construction of the nuclear island for Hinkley Point C (HPC) project and preparing the design replication and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) Project. At HPC we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes. We are looking to recruit for the role of HPC Head of Project Controls. The Project Control manager reports directly to the HPC NI project director. Under the operational responsibility of the Project Control Manager, the service coordinates the activities of all entities of the HPC NI project in the following areas: · Schedule Management, · Cost Control Management, · Contracts Management (with the client and engineering service providers, as well as internally between EDV SAS and now EPR-E), · Delivery Monitoring and Support, · Reporting consolidation and Committees Management, · Risks and Opportunities Management, · Change Management (including all aspects related to project control). Additionally, the project control team is responsible for aggregating the contributions of the CI/BOP lot as part of the technical integration activities that the CI/BOP lot subcontracts to Edvance. The Edvance HPC project control team is organized into four teams: · The Schedule Management Team (TST), · The Cost, Risks, Opportunities, and Changes Management Team (CROC), · The Project Management Support Team (ProMS), · The Contract (GenCo541) and Service Agreements Management Team. The project control manager supervises and coordinates the activities of his/her team.
