Project Manager – Client-Side / Consultancy Experience - Winchester

We’re currently looking to expand our Project Management team in our Winchester office. We are looking for a Project Manager (PM grade) with ideally 2–3 years of experience, preferably within Healthcare, who is capable of leading small capital projects with some supervision.
The role requires a good understanding of contract administration (NEC experience is a bonus), strong client-facing skills, and a solid grasp of core PM responsibilities including risk management, programme management, stakeholder engagement, and progress reporting. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the flexibility to travel regularly to sites across the South Coast region.

Requirements
To support and assist with the provision of project management services, including technical advice, pre and post-contract project management services.
* MCIOB qualification or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, APM) or a clear commitment to achieving chartered status.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in consultancy project management in construction.
* Able to demonstrate experience across several sectors and types of projects.
* Proven experience in delivering Programs and Project management.
* Self-motivated and can set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects.
* Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
* Skilled in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability best value while delivering quality.
* Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
* Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
* Ability to manage complex and challenging project timelines, ensuring milestone achievement.
* Ensures projects adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
* Capable of leading through change—whether in scope, schedule, or resources—while maintaining team focus and morale.
* Clear, concise communicator with ability to report progress, challenges, and strategies to leadership and clients.
