Overview\n\nDue to the continued expansion of our award-winning data centre design and build business, we have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Desk Co-Ordinator and planner. Sudlows, who work throughout the UK, have a growing portfolio of clients globally. We have over 200 staff and have achieved recent growth with ongoing expansion plans.

Sudlows are keen to recruit candidates who will be part of this ambition.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe successful candidate will be a valued member of our Enterprise Services department. We are currently looking to grow our business and this role is a key part to this vision. This role is to provide the business with coordination of resource and materials including client reports and day to day support to the project teams and other company departments where required, ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest level of accuracy without delay.\n\nThe role will initially be office based at our Ducie Works office but may evolve to working on a shift rota covering 24 hour support Monday- Friday (including Sat AM) for international clients, this is yet to be confirmed but will be discussed at interview.\n\nKey tasks and Responsibilities\n\nOverview\n\nFull ownership of Break/fix tickets for work being carried out in UK, Europe, USA and beyond\n\nFull ownership of small project work in above locations\n\nSupport senior members of the Service Desk operations team with project work\n\nSign-off of all work on site, ensuring everything is completed to satisfactory standard\n\nEnsuring all health and safety standards are adhered to\n\nUndertaking ad hoc admin tasks as required by the Service Desk and wider business\n\nProcessing invoices for subcontractors and suppliers\n\nAttend weekly/monthly client facing meetings via video call\n\nCollating and amending close out documentation ensuring it is suitable to submit to clients\n\nWorking to strict SLA’s ensuring all work is completed and closed out in client expectations\n\nManaging stock levels of client’s equipment\n\nWorking closely with the estimation department processing new quote requests\n\nResponsible for maintaining a strong and positive relationship with all clients\n\nManaging sub-contractor and supplier relationships\n\nSupporting the wider Enterprise Services team with ad hoc requests such as ordering materials and creating PO’s\n\nSupport the Service Desk operations Manager with any required tasks\n\nTo answer/deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone in an appropriate and timely manner.\n\nPersonal Specification\n\nTechnical Skills and Qualifications\n\nAbility to work as part of a team and on your own\n\nSome technical / engineering knowledge would be an advantage\n\nAbility to manage a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines\n\nExperience of liaising with colleagues from operational staff to senior director level, and the ability to manage upwards\n\nFirst class communication skills, personal confidence and the ability to influence others\n\nIntermediate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills\n\nAccurate data entry processing experience\n\nAttention to detail\n\nPlanning and Organising\n\nAbility to organise own workload\n\nAbility to prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines\n\nAble to maintain accurate and timely records as required by the role\n\nAbility to identify and can solve everyday job-based problems in liaison with the relevant project manager\n\nWorking with people\n\nLead by example showing positive and effective work ethics\n\nAble to establish a rapport with service users as necessary e.g.

clients, members of the public, other contractors etc\n\nUnderstands how to encourage and influence people to get the best from them\n\nUnderstands the needs of others and able to respond accordingly\n\nCommunication\n\nAble to communicate factual information politely and courteously\n\nHas everyday spoken skills e.g. telephone and face-to-face conversations\n\nHas advanced written and numeric skills appropriate to the job\n\nAble to listen, observe and report information to manager
