Specialising in high-spec antennas for global commercial, military, and satellite markets, this company is seeking a proactive, detail-driven individual to support the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production.

Circa £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Thursday: 08:30-17:00, early finish on FridaysWhat You'll Be Doing:
Designing new mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
Creating engineering drawings in line with BS8888 and ISO standards
Supporting prototype builds, testing, and validation of mechanical performance
Performing tolerance analysis and applying Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
Supporting production through documentation, updates, and engineering changes
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across tools, processes, and quality
Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to deliver innovative solutionsWhat We're Looking For:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) - ideal for graduates with relevant experience
Some experience in mechanical product design, ideally supporting medium-to-high volume manufacturing
Proficiency in 3D CAD - SolidWorks preferred
Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing techniques
