We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team and play a key role in driving, developing, and continuously improving our maintenance systems. This role is central to ensuring our plant runs efficiently, safely, and reliably, while supporting engineering, production, and shift teams across the site. You’ll act as a key link between engineering functions, particularly around planned maintenance activities and upcoming height changes within the plant.



Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Manage Autonomous and Planned Maintenance scheduling, ensuring plans align with plant requirements and capacity
* Play an active role during Maintenance Days, working closely with Coordinators and Production to make sure work is completed on time and in full
* Work alongside Production and Engineering teams to identify current issues and ensure they’re properly planned and resolved
* Monitor and feedback on maintenance completion rates, supporting Coordinators and management to drive improvements
* Lead and monitor Autonomous Maintenance scheduling via Apriso, ensuring correct use and completion in partnership with Shift Managers and Cell Leaders
* Be involved in continuous improvement and autonomous projects, working closely with both shift and days teams and sharing technical expertise
* Lead the CMMS (FIIX) process
* Plan and lead Maintenance Days and Overhauls, working hands-on with Engineering and Production Managers
* Develop and improve methods to reduce height change times
* Support the development of SOPs and risk assessments for maintenance activities in collaboration with Engineering Coordinators







Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
* A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) desirable; electrical qualification an advantage
* Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the confidence to work independently and use initiative
* The ability to organise, prioritise, and perform well under pressure
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A flexible, action‑orientated approach with a genuine desire to achieve results
* Willingness, with appropriate training, to support other areas of the business when required
