Set in a 900-acre estate in stunning Perthshire, Crieff Hydro Hotel have been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. With 218 hotel bedrooms, 57 self-catering lodges, multiple restaurants and bars and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure center, horse-riding center, and our famously exciting Action Glen - there really is something for everyone!
About the role
We’re looking for enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals to join our Food & Beverage teams for the festive season. Whether you're serving mulled wine at our Winter Wonderland or helping guests enjoy a hearty meal in one of our restaurants, you’ll be part of the magic that makes the festive season at Crieff Hydro so welcoming for our guests.
We can offer a variety of shifts - mornings, evenings, and split shifts - to suit different schedules.
Where you could be working
You’ll gain hands-on hospitality experience across a range of venues:
 1. Winter Garden – Open from 7am until late, this newly renovated space hosts buffet breakfasts, afternoon teas, lunch, and dinner at East, plus an all-day bar.
 2. The Terrace – A family-friendly dinner venue offering a diverse menu from 5pm onwards.
 3. The Hub – A relaxed space serving takeaway soup, sandwiches, and coffee.
 4. Banqueting & Events – Help deliver memorable Christmas parties, ceilidhs, and pantomimes.
 5. Winter Wonderland – Our festive outdoor pop-up featuring food stalls with hot drinks, festive cocktails, chocolate fountains, authentic gyros, and more!
Contract details
 6. Fixed Term Contracts – Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (8-40 hours/week), depending on your availability.
 7. Start Date – Ideally week commencing 17th or 24th November to allow for structured training.
 8. End Date – Early January, with potential for permanent opportunities.
What we need from you
 9. Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including key festive dates. Please declare any unavailable dates in your application.
 10. Experience: Previous hospitality experience is a bonus (restaurant, barista, bar work), but not essential - we value a great attitude and eagerness to learn.
 11. Customer Focus: A warm, welcoming personality and commitment to excellent service.
 12. Enthusiasm: A genuine smile and desire to make every guest’s experience special.
 13. Confidence: Comfortable engaging with guests and creating a friendly atmosphere.
