Role Profile
As an early years practitioner in Fife you will be responsible for:
* Promoting children's learning, development and welfare within a nursery context
* Promoting inclusion, diversity and equality
* Communicating with other stakeholders
* Contributing to wider development within the nursery
Responsibilities
Deliver successful outcomes for children and young people by:
* Working within a team to support positive outcomes for all children and young people
* Applying curriculum for excellence and realising the ambition of child development from birth to 5 years
* Ensuring high interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
* Complying with all statutory requirements, including PVG and SSSC registration and post‑registration training (PRTL)
Qualifications
* HNC in Childhood Practice/Early Years Education & Childcare or SVQ Level 3 in Social Services for Children and Young People
* Valid membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme through Disclosure Scotland
* Registered with SSSC at practitioner level within 6 months of employment and completion of required PRTL
