Supporting site security and access control in a regulated defence environment, this administrative role within the Security Flight (Guardroom) supports access control, site security, and compliance by managing passes and permits for personnel, contractors, and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Issue permanent and temporary passes and permits, providing guidance on application processes
* Maintain secure control and custody of passes and permits prior to issue
* Carry out security vetting checks for dependants, contractors, and authorised personnel
* Liaise with UK vetting agencies to confirm and maintain valid security clearances
* Receive, record, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence linked to passes and permits
Essential Experience
* Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail
* Confidence working with sensitive information in a secure environment
* Competence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
* Clear communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused approach

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
