Job Opportunity: Stock Control Coordinator
Location: Carrickfergus
Salary: 30k per annum
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Reporting to: Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Control Coordinator to join a growing operations team. This role is key to ensuring accurate stock management, maintaining data integrity, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
During an initial transition period, there will be a requirement to work across both Carrickfergus and Newtownards, supporting operational continuity ahead of a planned relocation to Carrickfergus.
Key Responsibilities
* Stock Control & Accuracy
* Carry out regular stock checks, including weekly reviews of key and low-stock items
* Investigate discrepancies (e.g., missing stock, pick errors), identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
* Complete routine stock reviews (including BIBO where applicable)
* Support stock counts and year-end inventory processes
* Data Integrity & Systems Management
* Maintain accurate and consistent stock data across systems
* Update product information, codes, and records
* Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded
* Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvements
* Assist with implementing and maintaining stock control procedures

Essential Criteria
* Minimum 1 years' experience in stock control or inventory management
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Experience investigating stock discrepancies
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data manipulation, spreadsheets)
* Experience using ERP and WMS systems
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Proactive problem-solving mindset
* Flexibility to support operational needs
