Teaching Assistant - Doncaster Academics are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to cover daily supply needs across primary schools in Doncaster. Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Contract: Daily supply, temporary (ongoing) School: Supportive and inclusive primary schools in Doncaster Pay: £88.94 - £95 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay) About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support schools on a day-to-day basis, providing classroom assistance where required. You may be working one-to-one, with small groups, or across the whole class to help children access learning. This is a flexible role that allows you to gain experience in a variety of Doncaster schools, while having control over the days you are available to work. Key Responsibilities Support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum. Provide additional support for children with SEN or learning difficulties. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
