Duties as a KS1 Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum Support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events Ideal KS1 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in KS1 (ECTs welcome to apply) A strong understanding of early childhood development and phonics teaching Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a KS1 Teacher.
