Job Description
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the Digital Content Lead will focus on search engine optimising AGS Airports three banks of websites, app store optimisation across the passenger facing apps, and will be responsible to manage and lead the development cycle of continuously improving the websites user experience. The Digital Content Lead will have a proven track record of technically optimising websites, apps, and will be outstanding at creating data-driven SEO local, regional, and where relevant, international strategies per airport.
A strong team player, the Digital Content Lead will be proficient with many optimisation tools, such as SEM rush, Yoast etc to commercially leveraging SEO to its full potential. The Digital Content Lead will be hands on across the website, project managing website improvements and releases, balancing UX, UI, content, ensuring the very best site health, all the while supporting our goal to create and maintain a world class digital passenger experience.
Principle accountabilities
* Lead, plan and develop the SEO & ASO strategy
* Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization
* Maximise commercial opportunities to sell/upsell products
* Critically analyse performance, report, and provide recommendations to enhance & fix in a timely manner
* Ensure site health is maintained to the best of your ability and respond to market changes to enhance / fix
* Regularly perform thorough keywords research and adapt strategy where necessary
* Monitor KPIs such as share of voice, click rate, visibility, keyword +/-
* Collaborate with web developers, travel services, data & analytic, marketing & digital team
* Content updates across all websites
* Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
Qualifications and experience
* +2/3 years of working in digital marketing
* Relevant degree or local platform qualifications (SEM rush, Google etc)
* Previous experience with Umbraco CMS
* Experienced in SEO Tools and KPIs
* Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skill with ability to commercially prioritise
* A team player who's able to work on individual performance goals and KPIs
* Excellent commercial acumen and performance analysis skills
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve outcomes
* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
* Passion for digital transformation, comfortable with change, and fully embraces CI
* Familiarity with MS Office
Acting a support function, AGS Digital is primarily designed to support all pillars of the commercial team. The successful candidate will work as part of the fast-paced team using outstanding communication skills to liaise with team members situated at head office and other airports.
Working alongside colleagues, the successful candidates will ensure their digital discipline generates revenue for the group, via core, ancillary and future revenue streams.

The position is based at Glasgow Airport and hybrid working is the norm. AGS Airports is a collection of three airports, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton and travel will be expected. All travel expense for work related trips only will be reimbursed. Travel expenses from home to work is not included.
