Urfuture is building the UK’s first social-first, science-led hiring platform for early careers. We help employers replace CV screening with fairer, behavioural-science matching and reach Gen Z talent where they actually are, on social, not job boards.
We work with Heads of Talent and Heads of Early Careers to solve three core problems:
* Too many low-quality, AI-generated applications
* Poor diversity and weak signal on potential
* Early churn caused by bad fit
This role sits at the heart of our B2B growth engine.
The Role
We’re hiring a commercially sharp Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle — from first conversation to onboarding — selling into mid-large employers hiring early-career talent at scale.
You’ll be speaking daily with Heads of Talent, Heads of Early Careers, TA Directors and Employer Brand leads, booking and running product demos of the urfuture platform, and closing subscription and campaign-based deals.
This is a hands-on closing role, not lead-gen only.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Prospecting and engaging senior stakeholders across Talent, Early Careers and TA
* Running discovery calls to uncover hiring pain, volume, diversity and retention challenges
* Booking and delivering high-impact product demos of the urfuture App and Employer Platform
* Managing deals end-to-end: discovery → demo → proposal → close → onboarding
* Working closely with the founder and GTM team to refine messaging and objections
* Accurately updating pipeline, forecasts and deal notes in CRM
* Feeding customer insight back into product and marketing
Who We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
* ~3 years B2B sales experience
* Background in Recruitment, Talent Solutions, HR Tech or consultative SaaS product sales
* Proven experience selling to Talent / HR stakeholders
* Confident running discovery and demo-led sales conversations
* Comfortable owning a full sales cycle and closing deals
* Strong communicator — commercial, clear, and credible with senior buyers
* Happy working 5 days a week from our Manchester office
Nice-to-haves:
* Experience selling subscriptions or recurring revenue products
* Exposure to early-careers, apprenticeships or volume hiring
* Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment
What Success Looks Like
* Consistently booking high-quality demos with ICP-fit employers
* Closing deals within defined sales cycles
* Building trusted relationships with Heads of Talent and Early Careers
* Becoming fluent in urfuture’s value proposition around bias reduction, fit and retention
* Contributing directly to ARR growth
Why Join urfuture
* Basic, up to £35k - clear OTE (£75k–£80k)
* Category-defining product with strong inbound and brand momentum
* Direct access to founders and real influence on GTM strategy
* Fast learning curve selling a genuinely differentiated product
If this sounds like the right role for you, please apply and one of the team will be in-touch.
