This beautiful venue is an award-winning boutique hotel with a reputation for excellence. Set in a stunning premises near Newmarket, their Rosette restaurant is led by a well-known Chef Patron offering an exceptional dining experience rooted in European cuisine and the very best of seasonal, locally sourced produce.
My client is now looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef or a strong CDP ready to step up and join our ambitious kitchen brigade. This is your chance to grow in a serious culinary environment, develop your creativity, and work alongside a team dedicated to pushing boundaries while staying true to flavour, seasonality, and craft.
As Junior Sous Chef, youll support the kitchens day-to-day running while continuing to refine your skills. Youll be exposed to every section of the kitchen and be actively involved in delivering dishes that reflect their commitment to seasonality, local ingredients, and honest flavour.
You will need to:-
* Lead and support service alongside the Restaurant Manager and Chef Patron
* Train junior chefs and assist with kitchen development
* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
* Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and new dishes
* Uphold hygiene, safety and kitchen systems to a high Rosette standard
Ideal Candidate
* A strong CDP or current Junior Sous chef from a quality background (ideally 2 Rosette or higher)
* A passion for seasonal cooking and modern techniques
* A team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and lead
* Confidence across all kitchen sections
* A calm, professional approach, and high personal standards
* Full right to work in the UK
