Senior Project Manager – R&D Safety Division, Dräger. Location: Lincoln, England, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* You will lead and manage complex projects or a portfolio of projects within the R&D division of Dräger’s Safety Division.
* Deliver and document complex technical projects in accordance with Dräger processes.
* Lead cross-functional, cross-site, multi-disciplinary project teams in a highly regulated industry.
* Plan and control project budgets and resources, working closely with Controlling to provide transparency and accurate forecasting.
* Manage and control project risks and opportunities, identifying, allocating and mitigating with effective measures to reduce project and commercial risk.
* Maintain outstanding stakeholder engagement through excellent communication.
* Provide clear and concise reporting to Project Control Boards, Sponsors and other stakeholders.
* Ensure the effective close-out of projects and handover into lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Degree in an Engineering discipline or significant industry experience delivering technical/engineering projects.
* Relevant professional qualification in Project Management; Chartered or working towards Chartership (desirable).
* Significant demonstrable and relevant project management experience in projects with high risk, high complexity, high value characteristics.
* Experience in the project management of R&D projects and project life cycles.
* Experience accountable for project budgeting, tracking & reporting and forecasting of programs of work.
* Successful track record of exhibiting leadership and people management of cross-functional teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent facilitation and moderation skills.
* Strong passion for people management and collaboration.
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to handle conflicts within and outside field of personal responsibility.
* Ability to inspire team; influencing skills; a person employees enjoy working with.
* Demonstrated proficiency in time management.
* Sense of urgency; “play to win” attitude with track record of success.
