Job Description
What will you be doing?
As an Associate Director, you will have overall responsibility for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field. You will lead and manage client relationships, aiming to develop new business from your current client base and beyond, while contributing to staff management.
Due to recent growth, candidates can be based in Manchester, Leeds, or Harrogate, with a requirement to be in the office three times a week for collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent client service, ensuring a positive customer experience and adherence to the group’s Conduct Risk framework.
* Achieve the Exceptional Advisor competencies and manage client relationships.
* Contribute to business strategy to prioritize client needs and ensure commercial viability.
* Lead marketing and business development activities within your expertise, as agreed with your Head of Department.
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures to mitigate risks.
* Hold regular financial performance reviews with your team and relevant partners.
* Manage WIP and debtor policies, ensuring compliance with delegated authority limits.
* Manage day-to-day operations of direct reports and conduct annual development reviews.
* Mentor and develop talent aligned with the TBS talent programme.
Qualifications
* Significant private client tax experience within a professional practice.
* Strong knowledge of private client tax and professional advice.
* Experience in delivering tax planning and advisory projects.
* Ability to manage and develop client relationships.
* Proven success in developing profitable, long-term client relationships.
* Team and project management skills.
Professional Qualifications
* Qualified Tax Advisor and/or Chartered Accountant.
