We are looking for an energetic, outstanding and enthusiastic teacher who works very well with colleagues to give the very best learning experiences to all pupils, but who is also keen to develop as a leader and be the leader for Progression Step 1 the Health and Wellbeing curriculum area across the school.
You will need to be an excellent teacher, fully able to ensure high levels of wellbeing and progress in all age groups. You will have experience working in a school nursery or reception class and have a real passion for this vital part of each child’s learning journey.
You would be joining a high-achieving, successful and forward-thinking school which is known for high levels of successful inclusion and wellbeing.
You will need to have:
•A love of teaching and desire to make a significant difference in the lives of children
•A natural talent for ensuring high levels of wellbeing for all pupils through positive relationships
•Excellent knowledge and understanding of pedagogy to ensure pupils make very good progress
•Strong experience in teaching progression step 1
•An excellent understanding of the Curriculum in Wales, foundation phase pedagogy, child development and additional learning needs.
•Innovative and creative teaching strategies and learning experiences to inspire our children, with a love of outdoor learning
•Very good working relationships with children, parents and your colleagues
•A genuine desire to be fully committed to the school and its wider community
•Commitment and openness to professional development as a teacher
