<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for a qualified CBT therapist who is accredited by the BAPCP to join our team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This role will require office base working and some remote working. You will be offered regular clinical and managerial supervision.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide high intensity interventions – initially cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) – to clients with a range of common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.</li><li>Lead the role in providing support, education and problem‑solving skills to GPs and the primary health care team, particularly in assessment and management of mental health problems.</li><li>Keep up‑to‑date all records in relation to C.P.D. and maintain a personal development plan that reflects specialist knowledge of the latest theoretical and service delivery models.</li><li>Participate in individual performance reviews and respond to agreed objectives.</li><li>Attend relevant conferences and workshops in line with identified professional objectives.</li><li>Contribute to the development of best practice within the service.</li><li>Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and procedures in relation to mental health and primary care services.</li><li>Ensure that information processed for both patients and staff is accurate, confidential, secure and in line with the Data Protection Act (1998) and Security and Confidentiality Policies.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3><p>• Accredited by the BAPCP as a CBT therapist.<br/>• Experience delivering high intensity CBT interventions.<br/>• Knowledge and application of recent developments in mental health practice.</p><h3>Contact Information</h3><p>Name: Elisabeth Croal<br/>Job title: Operational Manager ESE Talking Therapies Team<br/>Email address: Elisabeth.Croal@NHS.net<br/>Telephone number: 07867349339</p><h3>About the Trust</h3><p>Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is one of only five mental health trusts to achieve an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ from the Care Quality Commission.
