Senior Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northampton Independent Garage
1. Basic Salary: up to £40,000 (more for experienced candidates)
2. OTE: £45,000+
3. Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 17:30pm
4. No Weekends
5. Busy independent garage with a fully equipped workshop
6. 10 days sick pay, 22 days holiday increasing to 25.
7. Private Healthcare provided with service.
My client is a family run independent garage located in Northampton. They're very well established having been a part of the trade for 60 years. They have invested in up-to-date diagnostic equipment and workshop facilities meaning they can offer a specialised service for their customers as well as a fantastic modern workshop.
As a senior technician, you will be responsible for all manner of repairs, so you must be confident in all aspects of light vehicle repairs and maintenance and complete all repairs to a high standard.
About the Senior Vehicle Technician role:
8. Confident in all aspects of light vehicle diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs.
9. Team player and good communicator, able to fit in with a close-knit team.
10. Motivated to complete all aspects of repairs no matter how large all small.
11. The garage deal with Servicing, MOT's, Diagnostics, Wheel Alignment, Tyres, Air-con, Braking Systems, and other repairs including engines, timing belts, clutches, gearboxes, ect.
Requirements for the Senior Vehicle Technician postion:
12. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Qualified Technician with workshop experience
13. Confident in all aspects of repair
14. Strong communication skills
15. MOT license Ideal but not necessary.
