Role: Healthcare Solicitor – NHS Trust Location: Wiltshire – Hybrid/Remote Umbrella Rate: £40-£45ph PAYE Inc Rate: £35.40 – 39.75ph Contract Length: 3 months with potential for extension Key Responsibilities: Healthcare Advice Consent, capacity, data protection, Mental Health Act, regulatory issues. Adult and children’s services. Manage High Court applications in-house for significant savings.Disclosure Requests Support police and local authorities in childcare and criminal proceedings. Handle complex childcare matters at the South west regional centre for children.Claims Management Manage Clinical Negligence & Third Party Claims under NHSR schemes. Work closely with clinicians to robustly defend Trust interests.Inquests Support and represent staff at Coroner’s Court. Liaise with local Coroners on a substantial inquest portfolio.Key Requirements: A qualified solicitor (in England and Wales) with significant experience in Health Care law and a current practicing certificate.
