Data and Performance Lead (Education & Skills)GainsboroughSalary: 27,50037 hours, Full timeShape the future of education and skills funding as the go-to expert who transforms complex data into strategic insights that drive real impact for learners and communities.What you'll be doing As our Data and Performance Lead, you'll be the funding knowledge expert everyone turns to. You'll ensure our data is accurate, compliant, and delivers the insights that power our programmes.Lead data analysis, insight and reporting across all education and skills programmesOwn financial and performance reporting across contracts, producing monthly insights that inform strategic decisionsCoordinate data integrity procedures and manage validation processes for error-free submissionsSupport development of core data systems and tools for new contracts and deliveryAnalyse programme data to predict trends, identify risks and inform future planningLead business development projects to maximise impactPrepare for external audits and quality monitoring visitsProvide training and support on data submission processesThis role gives you independent assurance that our data meets all funding compliance requirements. You'll have exceptional attention to detail and assist in preparing error-free ILR data for external funders.You'll stay current with funding and compliance changes, sharing your expertise across the team whilst coordinating the end-to-end funding return process.The must haves Knowledge of funding policy for education across all ages and provisionExperience with ILRs, funding returns and MIS systemsStrong IT skills across multiple platforms with advanced Excel knowledgeExceptional attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure in fast-paced environmentsPassion for data analysis and insightPositive, energised approach with enthusiasm for helping othersResults-focused mindsetThe added extras Knowledge of wider funded projects including government-funded programmesUnderstanding of data analysis tools and insight platformsSkills in data interrogation and research methodologyKnowledge of funding and bidding processesExperience implementing change and new working practicesReady to become the funding expert who drives real change?
