The International Marketing Leader is responsible for owning & delivering the Global growth strategy & initiatives for a key strategic segment of the business. This is a key Global Marketing role in the biggest category within the business, offering a high level of accountability, influence & visibility across the organisation.

The role requires a high level of end-to-end strategic thought leadership to define & develop global growth strategies, lead global initiatives & influence across diverse Global stakeholders at different levels within the business.

The successful candidate will have significant Global Marketing experience at a similar level and a track record of driving brand & business growth, demonstrating strategic thought leadership, a GM mindset and a proven ability to mine business insights and turn them into actionable strategies & plans. Strong communication & influencing skills at senior leader level is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Own development & implementation of growth strategies & lead key initiatives for a key strategic segment of the Global Intimate Care business
* Support Global Intimate Care Marketing Director in the development & implementation of the overall category & brand growth strategies & plans.
* Direct appropriate business analysis & work with consumer insights to define growth opportunities & inform strategic priorities
* Lead key global initiatives from conception, working closely with business units teams through stage & gate process, ready for handover to BU teams for execution.
* Accountability for Global P&L performance of the relevant business segment - utilising analytics to track performance & pro-actively check/adjusting plans accordingly
* Owning portfolio strategy for the segment, creating compelling value propositions (winning products, price strategy, proposition/claims etc.) with appropriate tailoring across global markets based on local needs.
* Owning the 1-5 year Innovation pipeline & investment plan inc. ideation/funnel filling, feasibility & commercialisation – both product & promise
* Accountable for cross-functional project leadership of innovation initiatives to meet requirements for each stage gate, and deliver innovation targets through speed to market and scale.
* Lead overarching pricing strategy, aligned to portfolio strategy/architecture and provide strategic direction to support RGM in collaboration with RGM & ABU teams
* Drive learning plans in line with strategy and work with market research, intelligence and analytics to derive actionable consumer, customer and market insight and be the voice of the customer internally.
* Work closely with Creative, Design & Experience team to develop brand activation (comms & packaging) to deliver the strategy & support key initiatives.
* Drive scaling of big ideas & define best practices to deliver synergies & efficiency/effectiveness across Global markets. Plus defining tailoring of plans where required based on local needs/across market archetypes

Qualifications required:

* Proven experience in Marketing inc. within Global roles at similar level - growing brands/business across Global markets. Must have a demonstrated track record of developing & executing Global growth strategies in a matrix organisation.
* Strong analytical skill; ability to anticipate & drive relevant analysis of business/consumer insight to inform strategies & plans
* Strong business & commercial acumen – understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & translation of strategy to in-market commercial execution. Ability to build and evaluate business cases.
* Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work and influence across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility.
* Ability to communicate & influence effectively at senior leadership level. Ability to anticipate their needs & perspective of the business to tailor messages accordingly.
* Proven capability in building, motivating & managing teams (both direct and indirect reports).
* Change Management Skills - an ability to deal confidently with ambiguity & operate in a business transformation environment. Creating clarity & focus to navigate change & mobilising teams to action what’s needed.
* Must be a global thinker – experience operating across Global markets & proven ability to understand similarities and differences, driving synergy where possible while tailoring where appropriate.
* Ability to prioritise issues and opportunities in a dynamic environment & allocate resources/time accordingly.
