The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach A Level Biology and Level 3 Medical Science. The ideal candidate should possess a suitable Biology degree, have successful experience of teaching A Level Biology in a post-16 setting. This is a superb opportunity for a first class applicant to join an established department and work in a College with an excellent reputation for A Level delivery.
1. Fractional 0.8 (29.6 hours per week)

3. £21, - £41, per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) FTE £26, - £51,

Key Responsibilities:
5. Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
6. Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
7. Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
8. Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.
About you:
9. Possess an undergraduate degree in Biology or equivalent subject.
10. Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
11. Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching in a post-16 setting.
12. A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
13. Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
