Are you interested in how buildings work and want to play a role in designing safe, sustainable, and energy-efficient environments? We are looking for a motivated Building Services Engineering Apprentice to join our team and develop the skills needed for a successful career in the construction and engineering industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an apprentice, you’ll support our engineering team in delivering building services solutions across a range of projects. Your role will include:
1. Assisting with the design of heating, ventilation, electrical, and water systems
2. Producing engineering drawings and models using industry software (e.g. CAD, Revit)
3. Supporting project planning, coordination, and delivery
4. Carrying out calculations and analysing technical data
5. Attending site visits and supporting inspections
6. Working alongside engineers, contractors, and project managers
7. Learning about sustainability, energy efficiency, and modern building technologies
You will undertake the Level 3 Building Services Engineering Technician. Further information for this apprenticeship can be found on:
This apprenticeship role is a fixed term contract for 36 months in line with the length of the apprenticeship training.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

8. A keen interest in engineering, construction, or the built environment
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
10. Good communication and teamwork abilities
11. Attention to detail and willingness to learn
12. At least 5 GCSEs at Grades 4-9 (A*-C) including Maths Grade 6 (B), English and Science or their equivalent.
13. Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office); interest in design software is a plus
