MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector; they are now looking to recruit for an Electrical Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis. The Job you’ll do * Working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team the job holder will carry out all required aspects of electrical project and maintenance tasks in a safe, timely and professional manner to defined standards and procedures across a wide range of manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities. * Contribute toward engineering continuous improvement initiatives in order to help drive plant reliability whilst also reducing mean time to repair. * Provide week day out of hours engineering call out support to the production department on a rota basis along with other engineering technicians. * Promote and maintain a positive HSE culture to ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times. * Carry out planned preventative, condition based and breakdown maintenance work as required. * Carry out project installation work. * Carry out basic instrumentation and mechanical work. * Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation and document information. * Identify areas of improvement with regard to plant availability, performance and efficiency.
