About the Role:
As a Data Operations Manager, you will take the helm in designing, executing, and integrating data governance workflows throughout the data lifecycle. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that our data practices not only support innovation but also facilitate the decarbonisation of the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Governance Workflows: Lead the design and implementation of effective data governance workflows, ensuring seamless integration of data standards into our transformation initiatives.
* Performance Reporting: Develop and manage business performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track data effectiveness and maturity.
* Budget and Resource Management: Oversee budget allocation and resource management, ensuring efficient onboarding and vendor relationships.
What You’ll Do:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to embed robust governance practices.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data controls and performance indicators.
* Coordinate monthly business reviews, producing high-quality executive and regulatory reports.
* Manage the data team roadmap and associated milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Track and manage demand for data governance services, ensuring adequate capacity and resources are available.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field or equivalent experience in Data Management.
* Proven ability to unify disparate workflows and lead teams toward shared goals.
* Strong cross-capability knowledge in data management and protection, including data cataloguing, quality, lineage, and privacy.
* Experience in designing and implementing data governance reporting workflows.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent certification.
