Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
We are seeking a Fixed Term (12-month) HR Co-ordinator to support the HR Onboarding team, responsible for providing frontline service to all Thames Water employees and managers.
What you’ll be doing as an HR Coordinator
* Supporting HR administration across the People Team
* Acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, forwarding specialist requests to appropriate HR colleagues
* Maintaining data using company-specific systems, ensuring records are accurate and current
* Generating and issuing formal documentation, such as employment contracts
* Undertaking ad hoc project work as required
* Communicating professionally and courteously with a broad range of people
* Liaising with Line managers, the IT Service Desk, and the wider business
* Updating employee records, including pension contributions
* Providing ad-hoc reporting and project support
* Managing workload effectively, owning queries through to resolution, and communicating appropriately
* Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Collaborating and supporting others within the People Services team
Base location: Reading - Hybrid
Working pattern: 36 Hours
What you should bring to the role
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to multitask; highly organized and responsive to high query volumes
* Strong communication skills
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook
* Advanced Excel skills
* Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing demands
* Trustworthiness and confidentiality
* A positive ambassador for the People Team, representing the role professionally
* Experience with remote HR advisory services and willingness to visit sites as needed (desirable)
