Rustington Golf Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Greenkeeper to join our dedicated team on a full time permanent basis. As a Greenkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our golf course, ensuring it remains in optimal condition for our members and visitors. The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 and 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 06:00-10:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and care for the golf course, including mowing, trimming, and other turf management tasks.
* Ensure all areas of the course meet the highest standards of presentation and playability.
* Assist in the implementation of new ideas and improvements to the course.
* Operate and maintain equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
* Contribute to the team's efforts by being receptive to feedback and continuously seeking to improve skills and knowledge.
* Work independently with drive and initiative, managing time effectively to complete tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience as a greenkeeper, groundsman or similar roles would be preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to new ideas.
* Flexibility to work one weekend a month on a rotating basis once fully trained.
* Full right to work in the UK.
