CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERLONG EATONPERMANENT ROLEFULL TIME Role Overview:Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment are presently representing the UK division of a world leading business specializing in the supply of materials handling equipment in their search to hire a new Chief Financial Officer.A UK Board member and part of the UK executive team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the financial integrity of the business. This is a highly autonomous role, vital to the ongoing development of the group, reporting directly to the CEO.This role is responsible for all financial functions within the business and will work alongside the CEO in the creation and delivery of the long-term business strategy.Key Role Responsibilities:Statutory AccountsThe effective management of the accounts process including the primary point of contact for external audit teamsManagement AccountsThe effective management of the management accounts process, including the creation, monitoring and challenging of the MA’sTreasury and fundingManage the funding process including direct liaison with banking / lending partnersEnsure funding costs are kept to a minimumThis includes responsibility for all foreign exchange requirementsFinancial ControllersDirect management of the team of financial controllers who operate across all businesses and divisionsGroup reporting and liaisonThe key point of contact for group financial matters, including but not limited to required reportingBudgeting and forecastingLead the creation of the annual budget and through year re-forecasting processEnsure group deadlines are metITLead the I.T. function, ensuring it offers the required support to the businessManage the relationship with ERP providerCredit Control and Purchase LedgerLead the team in the effective management of debtor books and ledgersRental fleet managementLead the core process of how the business treat / manage the rental fleetAcquisitionsLead the financial process regarding evaluation, due diligence, execution and integration of acquisitions.Working CapitalLead the management of the key elements of working capital, including stock, cash and WIPCommercialMonitor all Departments/functions within your remit to ensure they meet the requirements of the business strategy.People & CommunicationAuthorise all selection, recruitment, hiring and training of people within your area of responsibility.Experience: Management experience in a sales and operations businessUnderstanding of a rental businessManagement of multi-tasked teamsUse of business systemsColleague leadership and developmentInfluencing experience at all levelsManagement of Budget/Targets - profit orientated.
