MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Senior Java Developer inKainos, you’llberesponsiblefor developing highqualitysolutionswhichdelightourcustomersandimpactthelivesofusersworldwide.It’sa fast-pacedenvironmentsoitisimportantforyoutomakesound,reasoned decisions .You’lldothiswhilstlearningaboutnewtechnologiesandapproaches, withtalentedcolleaguesthatwillhelpyoutolearn,developandgrowasyou, inturn, mentorthosearoundyou.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
* Experiencebuildingandtestingmodern softwareapplications.
* ExperienceinJava plusTypeScript.
* Experience inframeworks:Angular, Hibernate,Dropwizard.
* Experienceindatabase:SQL or NoSQL.
* Experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques
* Familiar withAWS or Azure cloud services.
* Proficientindesigning,building,testingandmaintainingmodern software applications
* Experienceofapplyingdevelopmentbestpracticesandpatternsinrelationtosecurity,scalabilityand performance
* Contributingtotechnicaldecisionsanddirectionin acollaborativeteam environment,includingarchitecture,estimation,productplanning,userstory/requirementcreation.
* Experienceofdesign and developmentacrossmultiplelayersofanapplication
Mentoring junior team members
DESIRABLE:
* Goodcommunicationskills, with theabilitytocommunicateissuestotechnicaland non-technicalpeople.
* Experienceofdebuggingandtroubleshootinglive applications
