What to expect:
As the Brand Marketing Senior Specialist - EMEA, you will develop and execute regional brand marketing plans for CVI EMEA's product portfolio, focusing on Myopia Management. You will ensure alignment with global and regional strategies, support in-market implementation, and strengthen brand equity through effective planning and execution.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
* Inputs into portfolio strategy and annual business planning process across EMEA, taking ownership of brand marketing responsibilities for Myopia Management.
* Secures relevant information and data on macro trends, market dynamics-including customer and user inputs-and competitors' activity.
* Build a deep understanding of regional dynamics to inform appropriate regional marketing support and credible partnership. Includes, but is not limited to, understanding of key customer requirements, country-specific needs and differences, and considerations in respect of ECP roles as product decision influencers, channel dynamics, competitive activity, regulatory environments, pricing corridors and requirements in respect of packaging formats.
* Partners within global and regional marketing to develop in-market support via development of IMP toolkits that include new product launches, campaigns, advertising, PR and digital assets, market research outputs and other tools, materials or programs that are aligned with key commercial stakeholders, funded and resourced.
* Responsible for ensuring accurate use of approved marketing claims wording in the promotional materials and that assets are in compliance with global and local regulatory & legal standards through coordination with the cross-functional compliance and agile EQMS approval teams.
* Oversee regional product management tasks, inclusive of market and customer research, to inform market and product requirements.
* Accountable for Myopia Management marketing budget planning and spending, in close alignment with Head of One Day & Digital - EMEA.
* Develop and deliver, in close alignment with business objectives, the yearly marketing activities calendar for Myopia Management
* Works closely with cross-functional marketing team to drive optimal execution of marketing communication initiatives and events.
* Partners and works closely and drives alignment with key functional stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Commercial, Professional Affairs, Customer Services, Regulatory, QA) to ensure effective product commercialisation
About you:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Minimum of 3 years brand management experience, preferably in FMCG or in Medical devices, Pharma (OTC), vision care (frames, glasses, contact lenses)
* Experience managing branded and private label portfolios would be an asset
* Proactive, creative and customer-oriented team player with commercial awareness/business acumen
* Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
* Good verbal, written and visual (presentation) communication skills
* Good analytical and project management abilities
* Ability to contribute to a team and influence others at all levels of the organization
* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
* Fluency in English, additional languages such as Dutch, German, Spanish or French would be an asset.
* Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Experience:
You'll have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a brand marketing role delivering across B2B, B2B2C and B2C, where you'll be able to demonstrate developing and executing winning product strategies through excellent communication and partnership skills. You'll require experience for brand management.
