The Role
Reporting to the Category Development Director, you’ll take ownership of category strategy and execution, acting as the key link between data, insight, and commercial performance. You’ll collaborate closely with retail partners and internal teams, using your expertise to influence decisions, optimise performance, and identify new opportunities for growth.
* Building strong, strategic relationships with key retailers, acting as a trusted advisor and category expert.
* Delivering compelling, data-led insights that challenge thinking and drive growth initiatives.
* Identifying risks and opportunities across range, distribution, pricing, and promotions — and presenting clear, actionable recommendations.
* Leading the category contribution to NPD and playing an integral role in shaping the customer-facing category vision.
* Monitoring market trends and shopper behaviour to keep the business ahead of the curve.
* Supporting marketing and commercial teams with category input across promotions, pricing, events, and product development.
What You’ll Bring
* A solid track record in Category Management within FMCG, ideally with experience influencing retail buyers and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Strong analytical ability — confident working with data and turning insights into commercial outcomes.
