We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-profile transformation programme within the Defence sector, leading the IT workstream of a large-scale initiative. This is a pivotal role within the client's Product Portfolio, with significant visibility and responsibility across multiple business units and third-party integrators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the delivery of the IT elements of the programme from initiation through to deployment and business adoption.
* Oversee integration development between legacy ERP systems and Webmethods Axway.
* Coordinate closely with the Head Office team and an external Solution Integrator to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of design and integration specifications.
* Manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring effective governance and compliance with project controls.
* Drive effective communication, risk management, change control, and issue resolution across all phases of the programme.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation programmes, ideally within the Defence sector.
* Strong knowledge of procurement and finance systems.
* Strong background in managing third-party vendors and system integrators in complex integration environments.
* Ability to lead matrixed teams across functional and technical domains.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at all levels.
