THE POSITION:
We are currently looking for a Procurement Lead to join our growing team and contribute to the effective management of procurement operations across multiple regions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Lead and manage the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT equipment, software, and services to meet business needs.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s operational objectives and growth targets.
* Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or service delivery.
* Work closely with the logistics and finance teams to streamline procurement processes and improve overall efficiency.
* Monitor market trends and supplier performance to anticipate price changes, new product availability, and emerging opportunities.
* Ensure procurement activities adhere to ethical standards and industry regulations.
* Oversee the preparation and management of procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
* Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and regularly report on procurement metrics.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, understand requirements, and optimize inventory levels.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT or technology industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing global procurement operations.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
* Strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor sourcing, and contract management.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
