Instant Glass and Glazing is looking for a skilled and motivated
Glazier
to join our growing team in Crawley, West Sussex. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical ability and attention to detail, working on a variety of glazing projects across residential and commercial settings.
What we're looking for:
Practical Skills
* Manual dexterity and good coordination when handling tools and glass.
* Physical strength and stamina for lifting and installing heavy panels.
* Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding.
* Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing different types of glass (tempered, laminated, safety glass).
* Knowledge of sealing techniques, glazing methods, and relevant building codes/safety standards.
Personal Skills
* Strong problem-solving ability when dealing with unique installation challenges.
* High attention to detail for precise alignment and sealing.
* Good communication skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other trades.
* Safety-first mindset, following PPE and safety protocols at all times.
* A professional, customer-focused approach when dealing with clients.
