Purpose of the role is to…
Ensure the timely delivery of approved Power Unit hardware to a Top Level Power Unit Plan (TLPUP).
Ownership of PU elements through a number of technical, and often unpredictable, stages and gateways. These must be delivered to incredibly tight, yet non-negotiable, build plans & programme deadlines.
Provide clarity on hardware specifications and programme timing, proactively identifying and mitigating against potential risks to cost/quality/delivery, controlling updates & changes robustly using HPP processes.
Sit at the heart of Mercedes AMG HPP, liaising with the business's key stakeholders, and responsible for facilitating seamless interaction between all of HPP's functions, via Programme clarity and status.

Motorsport Powertrain Build / Strip Experience is advantageous (engines, HV electronic systems)

Act as a point of contact between Operations and Engineering to resolve build quality, schedule and specification issues
Be able to provide relevant power-unit specification data to Trackside for each event, when requested
Support production and development plans, ensuring that hardware is available for all tests (both dyno, rig and external)
