Role Overview
• Position: Year 3 Teacher
• Location: Wickford
• Start Date: 13th April (after Easter)
• Contract: Fixed-term until 24th July
• Working Pattern: Full-time (5 days per week) from April to 15th May, then 2 days per week from 15th May to July
• Pay: M1 – M6
• Responsibilities: Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessments, parents’ evenings, staff meetings and reports

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience is a bonus!)
• Is confident delivering engaging lessons and managing full classroom responsibilities
• Builds positive, nurturing relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Brings energy, creativity, and high expectations into the classroom
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
This role would suit an experienced teacher seeking a flexible working pattern or a confident ECT ready to thrive in a supportive and encouraging environment.
