Job Overview:
Altrad is seeking skilled HVAC professionals, from Technicians to Engineers, to join our team at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across the site. This role involves technical work and engineering tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design and Engineering:
o Develop and review HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications.
o Perform engineering calculations and simulations to optimize system performance.
2. Installation and Commissioning:
o Oversee or participate in HVAC system installation, ensuring correct assembly and integration.
o Conduct commissioning tests to verify system functionality.
3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
o Perform regular HVAC maintenance, including preventative and corrective tasks.
o Diagnose and resolve technical issues, implementing effective solutions.
4. Project Management:
o Plan and manage HVAC projects from conception to completion.
o Coordinate with other disciplines for system integration.
5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
o Ensure HVAC work complies with safety, environmental, and company standards.
o Conduct quality assurance checks and audits.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
o Prepare reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
o Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and repairs.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work with engineers, technicians, and site personnel for seamless operation.
o Provide technical guidance and support as needed.
