Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker Location: Mansfield Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Salary: £33,500 £36,500 Shift Pattern: 1 on / 2 off (includes 2 contracted sleep-ins per month; additional sleep-ins at £60 each) About the Role Do you want to work in a childrens home where your presence, patience, and practice truly matter? As a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be a calm, consistent and therapeutic role model supporting both the young people and the team around them. The children youll work with may have experienced trauma, instability, or emotional distress. They need adults who can offer stability, empathy, and resilience. You will use therapeutic approaches such as PACE and DDP, building meaningful relationships that help children feel safe, valued, and able to grow. Youll also guide and support the staff team, modelling best practice and ensuring consistency across the home.
