As a full‑stack Application Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user‑friendly, and responsive web applications. You will be part of a small centre of excellence in full‑stack web technologies and user interface development, designing mock‑ups and wireframes and translating them into fully functional digital applications used by our volunteers and staff. You will also help the RNLI to deliver applications that will enhance engagement and satisfaction and ultimately support those who are part of our mission to save lives.
Responsibilities
* Follow modern DevOps practices using Git and Azure DevOps to manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and structured development workflows.
* Work confidently across a range of modern technologies and frameworks including Vue, Angular, C++, TypeScript, MSSQL, and MySQL, applying best practices to build robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in applications development using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend and backend frameworks.
* Experience with responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility.
* Experience using version control systems such as GitHub and of DevOps methodology.
* Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
* It is also desirable (but not essential) that you have an understanding of data modelling, data integration, and API consumption; knowledge of Azure services and cloud computing; and experience with VueJS and Bootstrap.
