The role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll analyze, develop, maintain and support engineering software applications that underpin critical programmes. You will drive innovation, improve system performance, and ensure technology meets the evolving needs of a complex, mission‑critical environment.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
* Supporting the analysis, design and configuration of engineering software applications
* Delivering application improvements, minor changes and project‑based enhancements
* Providing second and third line support to ensure system reliability and performance
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements
* Ensuring applications align with defined strategies, roadmaps and architecture
This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience
* Experience managing and maintaining IT or business system solutions
* Understanding of engineering or technical software environments
* Basic knowledge of one or more of: Computer Aided Design, Product Lifecycle Management, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Design Analysis, or Integrated Logistic Support
* Experience working within a structured IT or digital delivery environment
* Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Qualifications
* IT or Engineering related Degree or equivalent qualification
Security Clearance
