The Role - Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs
They are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their reactive maintenance team, working on the Brighton & Hove Council commercial contract. This role focuses on reactive repairs with occasional small-scale installations across a variety of council-operated commercial premises.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a team of 4, delivering reactive maintenance and remedial installations
* Covering commercial properties including libraries, town halls, public facilities, and buildings within the Pavilion estate
* Responding to urgent repairs and maintenance requests
* Carrying out minor electrical installations as required
* Interfacing with council representatives and maintaining professional relationships
Requirements:
* 10–15 years of experience (including apprenticeship)
* Fully qualified: NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition
* Testing & Inspection certification (desirable but not essential)
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Clean DBS check
* Professional, client-facing manner with excellent communication skills
* Must live locally to Brighton
