The package:

The Duties:
6. Attend breakdowns on site machinery & conveyor system
7. Carry out PPM’s and reactive breakdowns and maintenance in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime.
8. Liaise with Engineering management & fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally & in a timely manner
9. Follow health & safety procedures
10. Attend training & courses for further development, in line with training
11. Working with other engineers on the team to maintain and repair plant machinery.
The Requirements:
12. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry (essential)
13. A good balance of Mechanical/Electrical Fault Finding, Repairs with an electrical bias preferred (essential)
14. Apprentice trained with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification within electrical/mechanical engineering (essential)
15. Previous experience repairing & fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs (essential)
16. Understanding of Automated processes (advantageous)
17. An openness to learn, share practices & attend training courses when needed (advantageous)
18. Full UK Drivers License
