Role & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Land, Technical, Sales, and Production teams to develop site-specific land appraisals
* Prepare and review land appraisals to support site acquisitions
* Identify cost-saving opportunities through innovative materials and construction methods
* Visit potential land acquisition sites to evaluate risks and opportunities, providing detailed reports for land bids
* Suggest alternative approaches for non-standard works
* Work with Quantity Surveyors, Buyers, and external stakeholders to maintain an accurate cost database, including prelims, site works, and land abnormalities
* Monitor and report on cost movements influenced by inflation, planning, and market factors
* Prepare and present budget status, risk, and opportunity reports regularly
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years UK experience as an Estimator, ideally within housebuilding or groundworks
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to the role
* Full UK driving license
