Are you an experienced quality professional with a passion for ensuring excellence in manufacturing environments? We are recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top‑tier, fully compliant products in a high‑reliability industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the Quality Inspection Team, setting clear standards and expectations.
* Oversee inspection processes, quality control, and product release decisions.
* Promote a culture of right‑first‑time quality across all departments.
* Challenge production schedules and operational pressures to uphold quality standards.
* Act as the primary contact for customer quality issues, building trust and credibility.
* Manage customer communications regarding non‑conformances, concessions, and corrective actions.
* Lead investigations into complex quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
* Implement effective containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
* Monitor defect trends and systemic issues to drive long‑term improvements.
* Use data analysis tools such as SPC, yield, and scrap metrics to identify and mitigate risks.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.
* Provide coaching and development for Quality Engineers and inspectors.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and internal quality systems.
Candidate Profile
* Extensive experience in high‑reliability manufacturing sectors such as electronics, aerospace, defence, or medical devices.
* Proven leadership in managing quality teams and resolving customer quality issues.
* Strong expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality investigations.
* Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (multilayer, HDI, controlled impedance, surface finishes) is preferred.
* Experience with standards such as IPC A‑600, ISO 9001, AS9100, and tools like SPC, PFMEA, and APQP.
