A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team, working alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to help lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.
What you will be doing:
* Ensure the smooth operation of the Pastry Department, maintaining all areas to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
* Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in supervising and coordinating the training of pastry staff.
* Motivate staff to perform at their best.
* Prepare daily food offerings according to business needs.
* Write and review standard recipes for all dishes to ensure proper portion control, consistency in taste and quality, subject to approval by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role is essential; experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
