Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Spare Parts Specialist to join our dynamic team, in ABB's ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area. We don't expect you to be on a specialist level from day 1, which means that we welcome also candidates who are genuinely interested in robotics and this role's tasks and who are more than willing to start as a representative and grow into a specialist. Learning attitude is key. Robotics is a very interesting field, offering constant development possibilities and making every day different. We have 6 team members but only this role is responsible for spare parts. You would be coached and trained by the line manager. We have a positive and joyful atmosphere, and no micromanagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end spare parts process, including orders, quotations, logistics coordination, returns, and warranty support. This role involves collaboration with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and accurate processing of all spare parts activities. Please note that the work model for the role is onsite, which means working at our Milton Keynes office every week day. This is a full-time position, but daily working hours can be somewhat flexible. In this role, you will process spares parts orders (1st&3rd party, pro-forma & credit cards) and create/manage spare part quotations in accordance with customer requirements and pricing policies. You will coordinate returns, including packing and system processing and handle disputes, where applicable, as well as administer the spare part warranty processes. Tasks also include booking shipments with carriers such as TNT and DHL and preparing commercial invoices for domestic and international shipments, with compliance documentation. You will create and manage data in SAP and do stock e.g. movement transactions, inventory adjustments, spare part invoicing and financial tracking. You will work with other internal stakeholder in supporting sales leads and inquiries related to spare parts and escalate to sales or technical teams as needed. We also have a rotating On Call support for after-hours spares parts support, in which you would be expected to participate. Qualifications for the role
* Prior experience in spare parts, logistics, or customer service environment
* Proficiency in SAP & Sales Force
* Knowledge of international shipping and customs documentation is a plus
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* You hold a current and valid UK VISA/work permit
