High-quality private family work with small legal aid caseload\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an NQ + Family Solicitor to join a well established Yorkshire practice in their Brighouse office. \n\nThis role offers a varied and high-quality family law caseload, with a strong focus on private family matters, alongside a small, manageable amount of legal aid work. You’ll be joining a well-regarded, supportive team with a strong reputation in the local market.\n\nThe Role You will handle your own caseload of family matters, including:\n

* Divorce and separation\n\t
\n\t
* Financial remedy proceedings\n\t
\n\t
* Private children matters\n\t
\n\t
* Cohabitation disputes\n\t
\n\t
* A limited amount of publicly funded family work\n\t
\n\n\n

* NQ Solicitor + \n\t
\n\t
* Experience in family law (gained through training contract, paralegal work or post-qualification)\n\t

* Comfortable undertaking advocacy, including attending court where required\n\t

* Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision\n\t
\n\t
* Strong client care skills with a practical and empathetic approach\n\t
\n\t
* Keen to develop and progress within a busy and well-regarded family team\n\t
